Onsite Training
The KCEC has a training resource that is unique to this area. It is a portable laptop computer lab that can travel onsite to provide training in basic windows applications, industry-specific skills, or provide access to computers for online training. The lab can accommodate up to eighteen students and comes equipped with an instructor computer, wireless network, projector, and printer. The computers come equipped with webcams which can be used for training or participating in web meetings.
Cost
With Instructor $75/hour (minimum 3 hrs)
KCEC contracts with the top area computer instructors
RENTAL FEES
Package 1 – $250/day, includes:
- 1 Instructor wireless laptop computer (including optical mouse)
- 8 Student wireless laptops (including optical mouse)
- 1 InFocus LED projector
- 1 Wireless networking hub
Package 2 – $450/day, includes:
- 1 Instructor wireless laptop computer (including optical mouse)
- 16 Student wireless laptops (including optical mouse)
- 1 InFocus LED projector
- 1 Wireless Networking hub
Package 3 – Health & Safety Training package: $150/day, includes:
- Interactive CD Rom Safety Library (18 topics)
- Instructor Computer
- InFocus LED Projector
Additional Options:
- InFocus LED Projector: $75/day
- Portable Printer (only available with lab rental): $25/day
- Portable Screen (only available with lab or projector rental): $25/day
- Individual laptop computer rental: $50/day or $150/wk
